Senior Graphic Designer
Position Summary
DarkStar Intelligence is actively seeking a skilled Senior Graphic Designer to support a federal government client in Bethesda, MD. This role will involve developing and delivering high-quality, impactful visual and digital media products for diverse communication needs, working alongside a UI/UX designer to create engaging user experiences.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Create graphics, digital media, cartographic elements, and other multimedia products to meet project specifications. Use request management tools to provide timely and high-quality customer support for various communication requests. Partner with UI/UX designers in Knowledge Management to ensure that graphic elements enhance the user experience. Develop concepts and implement designs for web pages, mobile apps, newsletters, infographics, banners, ads, logos, and other digital content. Ensure all products comply with production standards, copyright laws, accessibility requirements, and public release clearances; conduct technical quality checks. Build approved concepts in HTML/CSS, adhering to responsive design principles. Provide cartography support as needed, designing thematic and reference maps. Minimum Qualifications
BA/BS degree and 3+ years of experience, or no degree and 9 years of relevant experience. Current TS/SCI. Current CI Polygraph. Proficient in graphics and multimedia development, including digital media and cartography. Skilled in front-end web design, UI/UX principles, HTML/CSS, and responsive design. Photography and video editing experience. Capable of mentoring and training junior staff. Experienced in creating engaging graphic products across various media. Knowledgeable in design standards, copyright law, accessibility compliance, and public release protocols. Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough quality checks for technical accuracy. Salary Range $135,000 - $155,000 per year. This pay range is a general guideline and not a guarantee of specific compensation or salary.
