About the Role
The Company is in search of an Executive Director to lead its mission of advancing economic and social justice through advocacy and action. The successful candidate will be a visionary leader, responsible for providing strategic leadership across a complex multi-stakeholder organization, fostering relationships with member agencies, government officials, and partners, and driving policy advocacy and legislative engagement at both state and federal levels. This role is pivotal in shaping policy, building coalitions, and advancing programs that create pathways out of poverty for communities. The Executive Director will also be tasked with securing and stewarding resources for organizational sustainability, overseeing member services, and championing diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree preferred, and executive-level leadership experience in managing complex stakeholder relationships. A proven track record in government relations and policy advocacy, as well as an understanding of anti-poverty programs and funding mechanisms, is essential. The ideal candidate will be a passionate advocate for social justice, combining strategic thinking with outstanding analytical and communication skills. They should be a collaborative leader, adept at building consensus among diverse stakeholders, and capable of managing multiple priorities with energy and drive.
