About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for its Academy of Food Marketing. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and administrative oversight to the Academy and its associated educational foundation. This role involves directing all aspects of the Academy's operations, including fundraising, student placement, recruitment, and scholarship allocation. The Executive Director will also be tasked with maintaining the Academy's self-funding model, meeting payroll and operating expenses, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. Essential duties include coordinating student recruitment, leading fundraising activities, and overseeing the scholarship program. The role also requires a high level of confidentiality, the ability to collaborate with diverse groups, and a commitment to the mission of the Academy. The Executive Director will be expected to work some evenings and weekends and to travel as necessary. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, a minimum of 10 years' experience in the food industry, and a strong network of industry relationships. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company's Academy of Food Marketing should have a Bachelor's degree in food marketing, business, or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years' experience in a leadership role within the food industry. A Master's degree is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the food industry, the ability to manage multiple budgets, and a proven track record in fundraising. Essential skills include excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication, as well as strong planning, organization, and project management abilities.
