About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Transportation and Parking Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic planning and operation of the institution's diverse transportation services, with a strong focus on innovation, sustainability, and equity. This includes overseeing the management of a large vehicle fleet, planning for pedestrian and bicycle facilities, and leading transportation demand management and mobility programs. The Executive Director will set and execute a vision for transportation and mobility that aligns with the company's values, and will be the key decision-maker on all transportation, parking, fleet, and personal mobility issues. Key responsibilities for the Executive Director include strategic planning to meet the evolving mobility needs of the community, managing a team of transportation professionals, and engaging with a wide range of stakeholders both within the company and in the public sector. The role requires a senior leader with at least 10 years' of experience in transportation programs, policy, and operations, as well as a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Essential qualifications include a clear understanding of diversity and inclusion efforts, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work as essential personnel during emergencies. The ideal candidate will have a background in managing a multimodal transportation system and experience with fleet electrification and shared mobility. Strong communication skills, project management experience, and a commitment to customer service are also essential.
