US Tech Solutions is hiring: Cybersecurity Specialist in Chandler

Contract Duration: 6 Months

Job Description:

We are hiring a Cybersecurity Specialist to join our Security Operations Team. This role involves designing, implementing, and securing global information systems against unauthorized access, data breaches, and accidental losses. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in detecting and mitigating cyber threats while mentoring junior analysts and driving innovation in security practices.

Responsibilities:

· Threat Mitigation: Detect, respond to, and mitigate complex cyber threats.

· Security Operations: Monitor and analyze logs, conduct threat modeling, and implement strategic mitigations.

· Incident Response: Lead detection, containment, recovery, and forensic investigations.

· Policy Governance: Develop and align security policies with global standards.

· Cloud Security: Protect hybrid/multi-cloud environments, ensuring compliance.

· Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with IT, legal, and compliance teams to integrate security best practices.

· Team Leadership: Mentor junior analysts and foster continuous learning.

Key Qualifications:

· Experience: 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles.

Technical Skills:

o Strong networking and security expertise.

o Proficiency in MITRE ATT&CK Framework, threat hunting, and digital forensics.

o Experience with Microsoft Azure tools such as Sentinel, Defender, and Entra ID.

o Knowledge of risk management, vulnerability management platforms, and IT security engineering.

Certifications (Preferred):

CISSP/CCSP, Incident Response certifications.

Additional Skills (Nice to Have):

o Experience with Operational Technology (OT) cybersecurity.

o Managed Services Provider (MSP) onboarding and maintenance experience.
