Salary range: $135K - $150K, Depending on Experience + 25% EBITDA

Job Description:

The Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing and managing all operational aspects of the company's Alaska business. This role involves ensuring efficient and effective operations, managing resources, implementing strategies to maximize profitability, and maintaining compliance with industry regulations. The Director of Operations will play a key leadership role, working closely with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize distribution processes, warehouse management, inventory control, and transportation logistics.

Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective measures.

Develop and direct management of the company’s Warehouse and Delivery to ensure fast order processing, accurate inventory control, proper and timely receipt/stocking of goods, cost-efficient shipping direct to customers and effective processing of returns.

Manage human resources and systems related to warehouse and inventory control. Implement improved processes and management methods to generate higher ROI and workflow optimization.

Provide leadership, guidance, and support to a diverse team of operations managers, warehouse staff, drivers, and administrative personnel. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, collaboration, and professional development. Conduct regular performance evaluations, set goals, and provide coaching and feedback to ensure high levels of employee productivity and job satisfaction.

Develop and manage the operations budget, ensuring effective cost control measures and resource allocation. Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and implement strategies to improve profitability and operational efficiency. Work closely with the finance department to provide accurate financial data and contribute to strategic planning and forecasting.

Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and technology implementation to enhance operational efficiency and customer service. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to beverage distribution and operations management.

Develop and direct the management of the Delivery operations, including but not limited to all aspects of the company’s fleet, delivery procedures and operations. Implement improved processes and management methods to generate higher ROI and workflow optimization.

Interact regularly with executive team and individual department heads to ensure that company’s operation priorities are aligned with total company direction.

Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Must have a High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED).

Minimum ten years of related experience in distribution environment.

Demonstrated technical, planning, interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), conflict resolution and/or mediation skills.

Proven experience in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures, formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures.

Ability to make administrative and procedural decisions and judgments to promote collaboration and to foster a cooperative work environment.

Ability to plan, develop, and coordinate multiple projects related to facilities and personnel.

Experience in budget preparation and fiscal management.

Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization and the general public.
