The Senior (Sr.) Product Manager, AIR Expansion will be responsible for defining product requirements, setting strategy, and tirelessly championing the needs of our customers. This position will collaborate with internal as well as external stakeholders across multiple geographies. The Sr. Product Manager will understand the network nuances of a specific geography, identify opportunities to modify or build Amazon Air standard tools and processes and drive standardization of global Air Transportation mechanisms. The individual will work closely with the Technology and Research Science teams to design, test, and productionize technology solutions that will support effective management of network in terms of Safety, Planning, Operation, Service Performance, and Disruption Management. Key job responsibilities Lead cross-functional teams to evaluate air transportation opportunities Lead operational and technology integration efforts Create a product strategy and manage the entire product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical execution Define and write product requirement documents and gain buy-in of stakeholders and senior leadership Manage and coordinate multiple project assignments that continuously improve customers’ experience and develop best in class air transportation capabilities Establish goals and review metrics to identify opportunities and deliver success Identify and communicate roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to cross-functional project teams to gain buy-in and deliver to product schedules Represent the company with partners, and work across all relevant cross-functional areas to guarantee effective communication, implementation, and execution of objectives Navigate through ambiguity, managing and coordinating multiple project assignments simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, accepting ownership and accountability of the process and delivering on commitments International travel required up to 20% of the time Minimum Requirements Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition Bachelor’s degree in Product, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or related field 5+ years of Product or Supply Chain Management, Business Development or Technology Experience Experience owning end-to-end delivery within aviation, transportation or related industry Experience building product roadmap strategy and definition Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders Master's degree or equivalent Knowledge of key customer experience metrics and methodology (e.g., NPS) Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
