Position Summary:Join our team at MEP Pros as the Director of Business Development, a pivotal role focused on expanding our commercial client base and driving growth for multiple brands, including 1-800-Plumber+Air PNW, Wired Together Electric and Leak Locaters. The Director will lead our Business Development team, equipping them with the necessary tools, training, and motivation to excel. This individual will be responsible for identifying, securing, and nurturing relationships with commercial property owners, managers, and facility leaders across Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical, Leak Detection, and Excavation services. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performance Business Development team aligned with MEP Pros' values.Set goals, provide feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.Recruit, onboard, and support new team members for smooth integration.Encourage collaboration and the sharing of best practices.

Commercial Lead Conversion & Relationship Management:

Convert Marketing-Qualified Leads (MQLs) into Sales-Qualified Leads (SQLs) and paying clients.Pursue additional business through networking and referrals.Build and maintain relationships with commercial clients for repeat business.

Strategic Planning & Sales:

Develop growth strategies to acquire new commercial clients and expand relationships.Lead client presentations, proposals, and negotiations to secure partnerships.Provide strategic insights on market trends to align with company goals.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work with the Marketing Director or outside agency to align lead generation strategies.Coordinate with internal teams to ensure cohesive client service.Provide feedback to marketing on lead quality and trends.

Performance Tracking & Reporting:

Track metrics for team performance, client acquisition, revenue growth, and retention.Adjust strategies based on performance data for continual improvement.

Networking & Industry Engagement:

Represent MEP Pros at events, trade shows, and networking functions.Establish a reputation as a thought leader in the commercial property service industry.

Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience.5+ years in business development, preferably in commercial property or trades industry.Proven leadership in high-performing teams, relationship management, and client acquisition.Strong negotiation and client-focused sales skills.Proficiency in CRM and business intelligence tools.Excellent communication skills and alignment with our mission of growth and accountability.Work Environment & Benefits:Full-time, Monday to Friday, with occasional travel or extended hours as needed.Benefits include:10 days of PTO, 9 paid holidays (including your birthday)Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance401(k) with employer contributionFun company events and perksAbout MEP Pros:We are a multi-entity service provider in Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical, Leak Detection, and Excavation.
