Key Responsibilities
Facilitate Agile Ceremonies: Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other agile ceremonies to ensure team alignment and productivity.
Coach and Mentor: Provide guidance and support to team members on agile practices and principles, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Coach and support Product Owner to effectively manage the backlog and maximize business value.
Remove Impediments: Identify and resolve obstacles that may hinder the team's progress, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Promote SAFe Practices: Advocate for and implement SAFe principles and practices, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with Product Owners, Release Train Engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment on project goals.
Monitor and Report: Track team progress and performance metrics, providing regular updates to management and stakeholders.
Foster Team Collaboration: Encourage open communication and collaboration within the team, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master, preferably within a SAFe environment.
Certification: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) certification is required.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of agile methodologies, particularly SAFe, and experience in applying them in a team setting.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders at all levels.
Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a culture of trust and collaboration.
Preferred Skills
Technical Background: Experience in software development or IT project management is a plus.
Tools Proficiency: Familiarity with agile tools such as Jira Cloud, Jira Align, Confluence, Miro or similar platforms.
Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
