Somerset, NJ. Role Overview

The HRBP Head for the Carvykti Business Unit will play a critical role in supporting the Carvykti BU Head and the leadership team, closely collaborating with the HR leadership team to address HR needs and challenges specific to Carvykti. This role requires a strategic approach to talent management, organizational development, and culture-building initiatives that support the Carvykti BU’s business goals. The HRBP Head will be instrumental in developing a high-performing team and establishing effective talent management and organizational development frameworks to drive business success over the coming years. Key Responsibilities

Strategic Business Partnership:

Act as a trusted advisor to the Carvykti BU Head and senior leaders, contributing to the development and execution of business strategies that drive competitive advantage for Carvykti. Provide data-driven insights and strategic HR counsel to guide decision-making on key issues, including workforce planning, organizational design, succession planning, and talent acquisition.

Build and Lead an HRBP Team:

Recruit, develop, and lead a high-caliber HRBP team, equipping them with the tools and skills necessary to deliver superior HR support to Carvykti’s business units. Ensure the HRBP team is empowered to proactively address business needs, fostering an environment of collaboration and continuous improvement within the HR function.

Design and implement a comprehensive talent strategy focused on building a leadership pipeline, accelerating skill development, and ensuring a strong pool of high-quality talent to meet business needs. Collaborate closely with Talent Acquisition to shape and execute a recruitment strategy that attracts and retains key talent, positioning Carvykti to scale effectively. Organizational Design & Change Leadership:

Develop an agile organizational structure that supports Carvykti’s evolving strategic priorities, anticipating shifts in business strategy and ensuring workforce readiness. Lead significant change management initiatives to drive organizational development and transformation, enabling Carvykti to remain competitive and resilient.

Culture Building & Employee Engagement:

Foster a values-driven culture that promotes high engagement, innovation, and collaboration, creating a work environment where employees are motivated to perform at their best. Design and implement programs that enhance the employee experience and promote a high-performance culture aligned with Carvykti’s growth and innovation objectives.

Act as the link between Carvykti BU and global HR leadership to ensure HR strategies and policies are seamlessly integrated, balancing global consistency with the unique needs of each business unit. Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence to apply best practices in talent acquisition, learning and development, organizational development, and total rewards, aligning HR strategies with the long-term goals of Carvykti BU. Foster strong partnerships with regional HRBP teams to customize global HR practices for local requirements, ensuring alignment with broader organizational objectives. Requirements

Key Capabilities, Knowledge, and Skills: Advanced degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR leadership experience, including experience in building and leading an HRBP team to drive impactful HR strategies. Proven expertise in strategic workforce planning, organizational design, and leadership development, with experience managing transformational initiatives. Strong business acumen, analytical thinking, and the ability to translate complex HR strategies into actionable business outcomes. Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the ability to foster collaboration across diverse, multicultural teams. Background in high-growth or entrepreneurial environments is an advantage. Prior international/cross regional experiences working in the biotechnology and/or pharmaceutical industry is highly preferred.
