Manager, Supply Chain & Materials Salary range: $125K- $140K At Aitech, our team is driven to redefine the possibilities of embedded hardware systems for space applications. We pride ourselves on 40+ years of successful space hardware delivery to our customers! We are growing our team to support human space flight missions to the lunar surface and beyond! Primary Responsibilities: The Manager, Supply Chain & Materials will be responsible for supervising a team of highly qualified Planners, Customer Excellence and SMT subcontractors in coordination with Program Managers, Production, Management and global team for on-time deliveries, manage inventory levels and inventory cycles. The Manager will be responsible to manage the planning, material availability and requirements from order through MRP full kits. Additional duties may include: ·Coordinates with Program Managers on NRE Programs ·Works with Production to predict and align factory resources, workforce and bottlenecks ·Review Order Survey, Quote Survey in terms of work plan, capacity, production, testing jigs and equipment. ·Quarterly updates on product BOM costs for locally produced COTS products ·Responsible for company's MRP – demand creation and work plans ·Inventory monitoring – review inventory levels, plan monitor and improve inventory cycles.Inventory counting processes, depreciation, and control ·Work with Purchasing on expediting and postponing inventory ·Define, implement and lead supply chain and planning processes ·Manage SMT subcontractors - Fulfill material to subcontractors, ensure on time deliveries ·Create Product files and route cards for all kits entering production ·Create and monitor production workplans, full kits and testing capacity ·Oversee QAD support and needs ·Represent all COTS products for mil-aero and space to Management, Finance, Business Development ·Maintain Planning data in the system: safety stock, Min max inventory levels ·Implement improvement plans and define processes and procedures ·KPI –On time deliveries, Inventory levels and inventory cycles, Inventory counts status Required Knowledge, Education, and Experience: ·10+ years of experience in Supply Chain, preferably in the Space and Aerospace & Defense industries. ·3+ years of management experience; ability to lead, coach, and develop team members ·A BS degree in a related field or equivalent experience ·Strong knowledge of Military, Aerospace, and Space programs and requirements including ITAR and DFAR regulations. ·Experienced at using Microsoft Office products including Microsoft Project. ·Effective written, verbal presentation and communication skills. ·Self-motivated with an overall strong attention to detail. ·Strong team building and leadership skills. ·Demonstrated ability to foster cross-functional teamwork among Engineering, Operations and Quality. ·Experience using ERP tools (preferably QAD) Recommended Experience: ·Prior startup company experience. ·A MS degree and/or MBA is a plus. ·Experience with managing direct reports is a plus. ·Experience working in a matrixed organization. ·Experience at using JIRA or other similar task management tools.
