Requisition ID: 1138 *No Recruiters Please!* The Global Supply Chain Director is responsible for establishing and executing the global supply chain strategy for Rollease Acmeda, a leader in precision window covering hardware systems and automated shade solutions, utilizing a network of global contract manufacturers. This is a high-level, strategic role focused on long-term planning, risk management, global supply chain optimization, ongoing vendor management and quality assurance. The Global Supply Chain Director will collaborate with regional leaders to support the strategic adoption of the global supply chain framework while aligning with region-specific objectives, ensuring that Rollease Acmeda continues to deliver innovation, comfort, energy efficiency, and quality to its customers. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: Global Supply Chain Vision and Strategy : Develop and lead a comprehensive global supply chain strategy that aligns with the business's overall goals and long-term vision. Focus on high-level initiatives to streamline processes, optimize supplier relationships, and support business growth while ensuring strategic alignment across regions. Build on existing strategies to ensure the global supply chain is resilient, adaptable, and scalable to meet future business needs. Strategic Partner and Contract Manufacturer Management : Build on and strengthen long-term partnerships with key global contract manufacturers, ensuring alignment with the company’s design specifications, quality standards, and production needs. Identify and onboard new manufacturing partners that offer enhanced capabilities, cost efficiencies, and logistical advantages to support both global and regional supply chain objectives. Develop strategies to drive continuous improvement in supplier performance and optimize contract terms to ensure flexibility and scalability in production. Collaborate with regional leads to enhance contract manufacturing relationships, ensuring they support both global efficiency targets and specific regional supply chain demands. Support for Regional Strategic Adoption : Partner closely with regional supply chain leads to build on the strategic adoption of global supply chain practices. Ensure that regional objectives are aligned with the overarching global supply chain strategy while adapting to local market needs and challenges. Provide guidance and strategic input to regional leaders to build on their supply chain processes and ensure seamless execution of the global strategy. Quality Assurance and Governance : Establish global quality assurance processes and governance frameworks that ensure consistency across all regions and partners. Build on quality management systems to monitor product standards, ensuring all suppliers and manufacturers meet the company’s high-quality expectations. Implement a governance structure that oversees quality audits, compliance, and corrective actions on a global scale, with support from regional teams. Ensure continuous improvement of quality processes and performance across the supply chain. Risk Management and Supply Chain Resilience : Continuously develop existing risk management strategies to safeguard the supply chain from global disruptions, geopolitical shifts, and supplier risks. Ensure that both global and regional supply chains are prepared to handle unexpected challenges and are resilient to market volatility. Work with regional leads to build on mitigation strategies for specific risks within their markets. Supply Chain Technology and Innovation : Identify and adopt advanced technologies to improve visibility, efficiency, and responsiveness across the global supply chain. Lead initiatives to build on cutting-edge innovations, such as AI-driven demand forecasting and automation, in collaboration with both global and regional stakeholders. Support regions in leveraging supply chain technologies to meet local market demands more effectively. Cross-functional Leadership and Collaboration : Collaborate with other C-suite executives to build on supply chain strategies that align with broader company goals, including product development, marketing, and finance. Define and maintain a streamline global and regional internal relationship matrix to support key suppliers. Support regional supply chain leaders in executing strategic objectives and build on consistent communication and cross-functional alignment. Lead the effort to build on a collaborative culture that emphasizes strategic thinking, innovation, and shared success across regions. Performance Metrics and Strategic Reporting : Develop high-level KPIs that reflect the global supply chain’s efficiency, resilience, and cost-effectiveness. Work with regional supply chain leads to build on their objectives within the performance metrics and ensure regional success aligns with global targets. Report regularly to the CEO and executive team, sharing strategic insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE: 10-15 years of extensive experience in global contract manufacturing, with a strong focus on Asian markets, preferably within electronics and mechanical engineering environments. Strong expertise in global supply chain strategy, risk management, quality assurance, and driving supply chain transformation. Broad experience in Quality Management, including ISO standards and certifications. Ability to develop and implement long-term supply chain strategies that support global business objectives while collaborating effectively with regional leaders. Expertise in supplier relationship management, strategic contract negotiation, and quality governance. High-level understanding of supply chain technologies and their application to both global and regional operations. Subject matter expertise in electronics, plastics, and/or aluminum preferred.
