Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description

Provide technical assistance and information regarding Quality activities and deliverables to the Manufacturing Engineer/s leading the manufacturing launch activities for the assigned NPI projects. Promote and support Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement activities in Manufacturing. Create and maintain the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) for all development and production programs with the guidance of the NPI and Manufacturing engineers. Support manufacturing engineering in DFX and DFMA initiatives. Perform tests, gather data, and write results/reports with assistance from Process Engineering. Provide training to manufacturing operators/production technicians and other staff (as needed) on WIs, changeovers, PMs. Provide technical support to engineering staff in the operation and maintenance of automated assembly equipment. Work directly with operations and engineering in running, maintaining, and troubleshooting automated assembly equipment.
Responsibilities

Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with electronics, SMT, and PCB is a plus
  • Ability to be hands-on working on the floor
  • Involvement in time studies, assembly line process improvements, and efficiencies
