Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Lafayette IN

Duration: 12 Months Contract (Possible Extension)

Pay rate: $45-55 an hour on W2

Focus on process improvement initiatives on large engine assembly processes. New opportunity to learn about Automotive, New Capital Introduction (NCI) processes. New product asset / process / launch and learn about new technology.

Typical task breakdown:

1) Work on Continuous Improvement (CI) cards

• 2) Design tooling associated with CI cards
• 3) Update assembly documentations (SW, PFMEA, Control Plan, SFMEA)
• 4) Procure parts through NexGen for assembly line – basic training will be provided.
• 5) Follow up with Tool shop, Central shop and Facility engineering on jobs issued through system (LLumin, B-Zone etc.) – basic training will be provided.
• 6) Write tool order (RFE and SWO) to facility engineering – basic training will be provided.

• College

Technical Skills

(Required)

• Microsoft O365
• Tool design software (CAD, Creo, Catia etc.)

• Project Management, Data Analysis, Root Cause Analysis

Soft Skills
