The Role
The Manufacturing Technician - CMP supports receiving and cleaning containers, monitoring distillations, and packaging containers.
External US:RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare new drums and totes for filling, including labeling.
- Fill and package drums and totes.
- Sample and test production material.
- Charging and monitoring process tanks.
- Obtain forklift certification and perform material handling operations as assigned.
- Correctly document containers processed as required by standard operating procedure, including manual and electronic logs, forms, and labels.
- Operate manual and automated equipment in support of job functions.
- Must be capable of making necessary mechanical connections for tank systems.
- Communicate equipment status and outages to the lead and other supervision, as needed for correct, safe operation. Assist maintenance to troubleshoot and operate equipment for repair activities.
- Maintain job associated certifications and tasks above the basic level. Maintain EHS and other facility training current.
- Assist with operational, quality, and safety reviews, as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong Communication skills
- Demonstrated abilities to work independently and as a team
- 0-2 years manufacturing experience in related industry
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude a plus
- Good computer skills a plus
- Ability to lift at 60 lbs.
- Ability to push and pull up to 50 lbs.
- Perform other duties, as assigned.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work well with others at all levels of the organization
- Must have a valid Arizona drivers license and clean driving record
- Ability to work varied shifts to include 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts, including weekends
- This is a safety-sensitive position that requires candidates to successfully pass a post-offer drug screening prior to employment. One of the essential job functions is the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
