The Role

This Manufacturing Technician role will support our second shift operations. Our Technicians perform all of the vital tasks associated with processing and packaging products in a safe and efficient manner to support the execution of the production schedule. The job also includes advanced operational and/or specialized tasks supporting the overall manufacturing process flow. This opportunity will support our 2nd shift operations.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Responsible for a variety of tasks involved in the processing and packaging of specialty chemicals in a batch manufacturing process.
  • Operation of manual and powered equipment such as pallet jacks and fork trucks.
  • Written and electronic documentation including computer interfaces.
  • General housekeeping practices to provide for a clean and safe environment.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 0 -1 years of manufacturing experience is preferred.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English.
  • Must be able to wear proper PPE.
  • Multitasking and flexibility is required.
  • Intermediate computer skills are required
  • Must be able to work 2nd shift (2:30 PM - 11:00 PM)
  • This is a safety-sensitive position that requires candidates to successfully pass a post-offer drug screening prior to employment. One of the essential job functions is the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
