General Job Description

We are seeking a Manufacturing Process & Project Engineer to lead and support Capex investments and Continuous Improvement projects. This role encompasses the full project lifecycle, from the initial business case through to on-site execution, commissioning, and stabilization. The successful candidate will be instrumental in aligning stakeholders and vendors, conducting user training, and managing change.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the design of local Engineering strategies and system improvements.
  • Lead Capex Investment and site improvement projects, integrating performance metrics into production processes.
  • Provide operational and technical support for manufacturing software systems and hardware within the Fragrances and Flavors division.
  • Utilize data analytics to support project activities, including data acquisition, analysis, and automated report generation.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements using LEAN and Industrial Engineering techniques.
  • Lead the implementation of new systems and equipment, including testing, training, and documentation updates.
  • Coach and train operators on equipment operation, setup, maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline
  • 3-5 Years of experience in engineering/automation, system integration and project management
  • Strong knowledge of ERP and MES systems
  • PLC programming (GE) and IT architecture knowledge
  • Solid foundation of continuous improvement methodology
  • Strong data analytic skills and experience with automated manufacturing systems.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively at various organizational levels and with vendors.
  • Must be able to work on-site.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This is not a supervisory position but does serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the company.

Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Monday-Friday
