Energy Transitions Initiative Coordinator - ACEPUniversity of Alaska FairbanksThe Alaska Center for Energy and Power (ACEP) is searching for an Energy Transitions Initiative (ETI) Coordinator to support the program and develop and expand relationships with key stakeholders.As the ETI Coordinator you will provide key programmatic support to the ETI team, assisting in the management of complex and dynamic partnerships, initiatives, and projects. Your position will also be responsible for public outreach and advocacy for the ETI program.ETI is part of the Alaska Center for Energy and Power, which fosters innovative solutions to Alaska's energy challenges and is a gateway for energy-related activity at the University of Alaska Fairbanks.To thrive in this role, you should be a self-starter with strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple competing projects effectively. You will assist in shaping priorities and will need to be able to clearly articulate the goals and priorities for the ETI program, ensuring alignment with individual projects and researcher priorities. Monitoring project progress and ensuring the timely completion of tasks will be key responsibilities.Advanced leadership skills are essential, as you will work closely with a diverse group of researchers, including faculty, staff, and students. You will also be responsible for supervising and mentoring students, fostering their growth and development within the program. Prior experience mentoring or training students is a plus.Position Details:This position is located on the UAF campus in Fairbanks, AK. This is a full-time, exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and full employee benefits package. UA provides a generous compensation package that includes retirement options, annual leave, 12 paid holidays per year, tuition waivers for employees and family members, and affordable medical, dental and vision care coverage.
