Job DescriptionYou will be the Senior Manufacturing Engineer for the AMT Automation Team. The AMT Automation teams participate and provide manufacturing design guidelines in early product development cycles to ensure integration of automated solutions during manufacturing phases. Lead efforts to improve existing manufacturing processes by integrating automation capabilities along with manufacturing improvement activities. Support and participate in the design, fabrication, assembly, validation, and deployment of manufacturing automated components such as robots and vision systems. What You Will Be Doing As the Senior Manufacturing Engineer, the primary job responsibility is to support mechanical and tooling design projects in support of automation & robotics activities associated with IRAD projects and product programs. Candidate will be responsible for designing, developing tools and machinery for manufacturing automation operations. This role involves analyzing requirements, creating design concepts, and overseeing the fabrication process for equipment and tooling components. Other routine responsibilities will be capital planning and execution, vendor/integrator engagement, and project management activities to deploy automated solutions at multiple sites across MFC. Approximately 15% travel may be required to facilitate multi-site automation projects.This position typically requires 4+ years of professional experience with a Bachelors degree. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.National Pay StatementPay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $78,500 - $150,400 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
