About the Role
We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Director of Academic Programs, who will act as the principal leader in all educational initiatives within our organizations and in external partnerships. This pivotal role is part of the executive leadership team and is responsible for enhancing the classroom experience by developing and implementing comprehensive lesson plans, creating engaging room environments, and establishing effective communication with parents. The ideal candidate will excel in driving continuous curriculum improvement, support the professional growth of teachers, and create robust assessment and evaluation systems. Community engagement will also be a central focus of this position.
The Director of Academic Programs should be well-versed in the latest trends in early childhood education and adept at integrating innovative methodologies to elevate teaching and learning. A transformational leader with a proven track record in early childhood education and curriculum design is sought, especially an individual who has successfully implemented classroom best practices and delivered impactful training across multiple sites. Teaching experience coupled with a collaborative spirit is essential, as is the fervor to advocate for educational excellence internally and externally. We are looking for a dynamic individual capable of nurturing relationships founded on trust and respect, committed to the social, emotional, and academic development of all children.
