Superior Product - Lead a manufacturing team producing the best architectural design systems on the market Duties and Responsibilities: Ability to learn the process of starting up, operating, and shutting down all equipment Communicates job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures. Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establish priorities; monitor progress; resolve problems; communicate status or timeline of jobs amongst necessary departments. Establishes and enforces organizational standards Enforces safety protocols and quality control standards to maintain a safe and compliant working environment. Serves as a role model for expected behavior. Ensures efficient operation of equipment by contacting maintenance for repairs, evaluating new equipment and techniques. Works in conjunction with the Manufacturing Manager to resolve personnel problems by analyzing data, investigating issues, recommending action. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Performs periodic rounds to assure safe and efficient operation of the plant.
