Construction Administrative Assistant
LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a respected construction company based in Tempe. This organization is looking for an organized and proactive Construction Administrative Assistant to join their team. This is a full-time position with an in-office training period, after which you'll have the opportunity to work from home one day a week. The ideal candidate will have experience in the construction industry and be comfortable supporting a variety of administrative functions.
Pay Details: $23.00 to $27.00 per hour

LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a respected construction company based in Tempe. This organization is looking for an organized and proactive Construction Administrative Assistant to join their team. This is a full-time position with an in-office training period, after which you'll have the opportunity to work from home one day a week. The ideal candidate will have experience in the construction industry and be comfortable supporting a variety of administrative functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide general administrative support to the construction team, including scheduling meetings, answering calls, and managing project documentation
- Assist with processing purchase orders, invoices, and subcontractor paperwork
- Coordinate project timelines, ensuring that deadlines are met and project details are accurately recorded
- Prepare and maintain project files, contracts, and other key documents
- Communicate effectively with vendors, clients, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project operations
- Assist in the preparation of reports, proposals, and contracts
- Support project managers and superintendents with day-to-day administrative tasks
- Maintain and organize office supplies and equipment
- Handle incoming correspondence, emails, and phone calls
- Other administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience in the construction industry (construction-specific experience is required)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, Viewpoint) a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in documentation
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently once trained
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
