Technical Project Manager (Unreal Engines)

Insight Global's client is growing operations inside their IT team to support the development and operations of core services. As a Sr. Technical Project Manager, you'll work closely with the Unreal Engine Infrastructure team to produce team and product roadmaps for internal build services and core products in the Unreal Engine ecosystem. While you won't be programming with them, you'll need to speak their language at a high level, help build/maintain cross team relationships, and always be on the lookout for cross team collaboration opportunities.
Responsibilities Collaborate with the lead(s) of the Unreal Engine Infrastructure team, UE Foundation teams, and other teams to manage requirements, development, and maintenance of technical initiatives. Work with the Tech Services (TS) PMO leads and dependency team leads to produce realistic schedules and milestone plans for the technical engineering teams. -Communicate with senior management on all development status, and collaborate with discipline directors to solve problems and mitigate risk. -Identify, communicate, and help resolve all roadblocks or bottlenecks that may prevent teams from achieving established goals within their sprints/milestones. -Provide data to ensure that project goals, objectives, milestones and deliverable requirements are realistic and achievable. -Own operational aspects of project management, including workflow optimization, reporting, risk management, capacity planning, resource management, and budgeting

Required Skills & Experience -Experienced Project Manager with 5-10 years in Software Technology, Engineering, or IT -Proven track record in project planning and timely delivery. -Strong time-management, adaptability, and communication skills. -Effective relationship builder, flexible, and supportive. -Experienced in rapid development cycles and external team integration. -Knowledgeable about Epic games and products.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience -Experience with a continuous delivery model of deploying software -Proven history working directly with development teams -Proficiency in Google products and project management software skills ( e.g. Jira
