College education from an accredited institution can substitute at the rate of 30 semester or 45 quarter hours for each year of the required experience provided such education includes three courses in data processing. JOB DUTIES: Performs appropriate data entry transaction to maintain records and statistics using a complex interactive computer database, specifically, the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS). Indexes electronic and scanned documents to ensure proper storage and efficient retrieval. Operates computer peripheral hardware for production and production control within the EDMS. Organizes the workflow of scanned documents to ensure their appropriate distribution to designated staff and/or work units within the division. Performs other related duties as required. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Knowledge of the principles and techniques of effective communication. Ability to review data for accuracy and completeness. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others. Knowledge of basic computer operations. Knowledge of Chapter 493 and section 790.06, F.S.
