As a Technical Product Specialist with AWC you will be responsible for promoting and demonstrating core automation solutions with our Account Managers to customers in Florida.This includes receiving factory training and becoming the SME on these Industrial technologies.The Technical Product specialist will often work with customers to meet, train and select solutions for their projects and applications.Technical Product Specialists coordinate with Account Managers to demonstrate sensors, wireless networks, data monitoring, edge devices, valve banks, actuators, and machine reviews.These are generally referred to as Factory Floor productivity systems for a variety of industrial applications predominantly in the Water, Aerospace, OEM, Entertainment and Machine Builder Industry. The successful candidate must be innovative, passionate, and resourceful while demonstrating technical skills.

How you'll make an impact:

Technical Support and Troubleshooting:

Provide technical support to customers and sales teams, addressing questions and resolving issues related to automation products Troubleshoot and diagnose problems, offering solutions and recommendations

Product Training and Demonstrations:

Conduct product training sessions for customers, sales teams, and other stakeholders Create and deliver product demonstrations, showcasing features and benefits Develop training materials to support product training and customer education Building, assembling and testing solutions for Digital Lab based on new engineering products and technologies Conduct regular On-Site visits to reinforce the AWC value proposition Sales and Customer Interaction:

Collaborate with sales teams to support pre-sales activities Participate in customer meetings to understand their needs and recommend suitable automation solutions Provide technical expertise during the sales process, addressing customer questions and concerns Product Development and Feedback:

Work closely with engineering and product development teams to provide feedback from customers and sales teams Contribute to product roadmaps and development plans based on customer needs and market trends Participate in product testing and validation to ensure quality and functionality Technical Documentation and Content Creation:

Create and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals, product guides, and FAQs Ensure technical documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to customers and internal teams Skills you'll need:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Proven experience in technical support, product management or related role in the automation industry Solid knowledge base of automation products, industrial equipment or related technology Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences Ability and confidence to conduct presentations Proficient with Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Word, Excel, and Outlook Ability to learn new technologies, demonstrate and discuss with customers Here's what will set you apart:

Former Industry experience as an Account Manager or Application Engineer Ability to develop strong relationships with Manufacturer Partners Knowledge of PLCs, Drives, HMI, Networks OR Manufacturers such as Rockwell, Schneider, Keyence, Omron, Phoenix, Weidmuller, Beckhoff, Danfoss, Sick, Banner, Siemens, Eaton, Rittal, SMC or Festo.
