As an Inside Account Manager with AWC, you will work directly with our Technical Account Managers and technology partners and develop a deep understanding of their products. You will have daily contact with our customers and will develop relationships that will grow our business. You will strive to leverage solutions dedicated to enhancing efficiency, safety, and productivity across various industries. The ideal candidate will have a background in industrial instrumentation, valves, and pressure management, with a proven track record of success in account management and sales within the industry. How you'll make an impact:
Manage and grow relationships with existing clients, serving as their primary point of contact for all inquiries and support needs Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned accounts, as well as prospecting new clients in target industries Collaborate with external sales team members to develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and increase market share Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients on instrumentation products, including flow, pressure, and temperature measurement devices, as well as valves and pressure management solutions Coordinate with internal departments, including engineering, procurement, and logistics, to ensure timely delivery and installation of products Review work processes to ensure that internal and external quality standards are followed and offer suggestions to increase efficiency Establish and manage customer requirements, process Request for Quotes (RFQ) and Purchase Orders (PO) including quote follow-ups and pro-expedite purchase orders Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify opportunities for growth and innovation Skills you'll need:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or related field Minimum of 2 years' experience in account management, sales, or business development within the industrial controls and automation industry Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with clients Results-oriented mindset with a focus on customer satisfactions and relationship-building Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite Must be a team player with the ability to work with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals Willingness to be on call for after-hours & weekend support periodically Here's what will set you apart:
