RN ICU Nurse (Neuro Trauma ICU)
About the job
We are seeking experienced ICU Registered Nurses to join a high-performing Neuro Trauma ICU team. In this role, you will be providing critical care to trauma, neuro, and surgical patients in a 24-bed Critical Care Unit. This is a 12-hour shift position (3 days per week), with night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, totaling 36 hours per week. The unit specializes in caring for patients suffering from blunt force injuries, ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries, and complex surgeries.

- For local candidates (within 50 miles), the hourly rate is $42.92/hr.

What youll be doing:
- Provide exceptional care to critically ill trauma, neuro, and surgical patients.
- Implement medical care plans and manage the care provided by the assigned nursing personnel.
- Perform continuous monitoring, assessment, and management of patients' critical conditions using advanced technology and procedures.
- Ensure continuity of care by supervising the patient care activities in the absence of the Head Nurse.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic patient care.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with ICU experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification.
- NIH Stroke Scale Certification (NIH).
- U.S. work authorization (Green Card or U.S. Citizen).
- Minimum 3-7 years of experience in an ICU setting.
