About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Surgery (CVOR) for a contract position located in Indianapolis, IN. You will be joining a dynamic surgical team at a facility equipped with 9 state-of-the-art operating rooms, including 2 hybrid suites and 1 pediatric CV OR suite. The facility has partnered with Cincinnati Children's Hospital to provide top-notch pediatric CV surgery care.

This role involves 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week, with a schedule from 6:30 AM to 5:30 PM, providing 40 hours of work each week. You will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care within the surgical unit and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

What youll be doing:

• Implement and monitor patient care plans in the surgical environment.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to ensure well-coordinated care.
• Serve as the coordinator across multiple disciplines to ensure smooth patient care workflows.
• Follow physician and nursing orders, ensuring they are carried out correctly.
• Assess and coordinate patient care needs with the entire healthcare team for comprehensive care.

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse with Surgical (CVOR) experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Must be a US citizen or green card holder.
• 1-3 years of experience in surgical nursing.
