Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical/Surgical

About the Job:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in Medical/Surgical care for a contract position at a leading healthcare facility in Murfreesboro, TN. This role is within the Orthopedics Unit, serving a diverse population of patients recovering from orthopedic, oncology, and neurological surgeries. You will play a vital role in coordinating patient care and ensuring a smooth recovery process.

What youll be doing:

• Implement and monitor patient care plans to ensure the best outcomes.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions with the healthcare team.
• Coordinate patient care with various disciplines for a well-rounded approach.
• Execute physician and nursing orders to meet patient needs.
• Assess and manage discharge planning alongside the healthcare team.

Requirements:

• Valid RN License with experience in Medical/Surgical care.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification is mandatory.
• National Institutes of Health (NIH) certification preferred.
• Must provide two professional references.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. (Green Card or U.S. Citizen).
