About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join a fast-paced and dynamic team at a healthcare facility in Warwick, RI. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering critical care to patients in the emergency department. This is a 3-month contract position, working three 12-hour shifts per week, with the possibility of extension. The shift schedule is from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Monday through Friday. What youll be doing:

• Implement and monitor individualized patient care plans in the emergency room.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as necessary to ensure high-quality care.
• Act as the primary coordinator for all healthcare disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care.
• Carry out physician and nursing orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist in patient discharge planning by coordinating with the healthcare team to meet patient needs.

Requirements:

• Current RN license
• Experience working in an emergency department
• Ability to work the specified 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM 7:30 AM)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
