We are currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Emergency Room team at a reputable healthcare facility located in Pell City, AL. This is a contract position for 3 months, with the potential for extension, offering a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where you can make a real difference in the lives of patients. The position involves working 12-hour shifts from 18:00 to 07:00, three days a week.

• Competitive compensation with an all-inclusive hourly rate of $47.33/hr for non-local candidates, which includes a per diem.
• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius will receive an hourly rate of $37.87.
• Full benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
• Opportunity to gain valuable experience in a 12-bed Emergency Department with an average daily patient volume in the 80s.
• Work in a stable, supportive environment using Cerner EHR.
• No floating to other units focused work in the Emergency Department.

What youll be doing:

• Implementing and monitoring patient care plans to ensure the best possible outcomes.
• Monitoring, recording, and communicating patient conditions as appropriate.
• Serving as the primary coordinator for patient care across various disciplines.
• Noting and carrying out physician and nursing orders with precision.
• Assisting with patient discharge planning in collaboration with the healthcare team.

Requirements:

• Active RN License with Emergency Room experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• National Institutes of Health (NIH) Certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in an Emergency Room setting.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.
