Title: Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: On-site, Great Falls, MT
Salary Range: $56,000 - $80,000

They are currently seeking two full-time Medical/Surgical Registered Nurses (RNs) to join their team. Job Summary:
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Medical/Surgical Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide comprehensive care to patients in the Med/Surg unit. The ideal candidates will have experience working in a hospital setting and be comfortable managing patients with diverse medical conditions. These are full-time positions with flexible shifts available, offering the opportunity to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring patient progress.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans based on patient needs and conditions.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care.
- Monitor and document patient vital signs, symptoms, and medical history accurately in accordance with hospital policies.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
- Respond to changes in patient conditions and communicate effectively with the care team to initiate appropriate interventions.
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, regulatory standards, and patient safety guidelines.
- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and continuous education to stay current with best practices in medical-surgical nursing.
- Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers, ensuring smooth transitions in care.
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Montana or ability to obtain licensure.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Medical/Surgical unit preferred (new graduates with strong clinical skills may be considered).
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred but not required.
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- CPR and BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
