We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor and Delivery for a contract position. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic hospital environment in Clovis, CA, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of both mothers and newborns. What you'll be doing:

• Implement and monitor individualized patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate the condition of patients as necessary.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure smooth and well-coordinated patient care.
• Execute physician and nursing orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist with the coordination of patient discharge planning, collaborating with the entire healthcare team.

Requirements:

• Current RN license with specialization in Labor and Delivery.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification.
• Fetal Heart Monitoring Certification (AWONN preferred).
• 1-3 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
• Two professional references.
• Work authorization in the U.S. (Green Card or U.S. Citizen).
