Seasonal Assistant Groundskeeper Job at AEG in Jacksonville

The Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp, Triple A affiliate of the Miami Marlins, are searching for a highly motivated individual to join our Grounds Crew as a Seasonal Assistant Groundskeeper. This position runs March through September. The Seasonal Assistant Groundskeeper will report directly to the Head Groundskeeper.
A member of the International League, the Jumbo Shrimp play their home games at 121 Financial Ballpark located in Jacksonville, FL.
Duties And Responsibilities
-Assist in maintaining the playing surface at 121 Financial Ballpark including but not limited to turf areas, infield dirt, mound and home plate areas, bullpens, and warning track
-All cultural practices such as aerifying, verti-cutting, top dressing, edging, and fertility program
-Assist with field tarp and weather-related situations
-Other on-field events
-Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
-Preferred experience working in Baseball
-Strong time-management skills
-Good interpersonal skills and the ability to professionally interact with coaches, players and team personnel
-Ability to multi-task
-Strong attention to detail
-Ability to work in all weather conditions
-Ability to lift 50lbs
-Available to work weekends, holidays, and nights based on schedule
-Available to work a minimum for 40hrs/week
