Summary:

Supervisors are responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the facility and entry level staff and to ensure 5-Star Service is being delivered. This position requires critical thinking skills and the ability to work independently.

Essential Functions:

Job duties include, although are not limited to:

• Greet members and guests as they enter the health club while using Jonas to ensure members are active and guest are current.

• Cleaning and equipment maintenance; Circulating and engaging with members/guest.

• Cleanliness, linen, and amenity inventory of locker rooms.

• Execution, cleanliness, maintenance, and equipment inventory of all studio/fitness events.

Administrative/Other: F&B requisitions, HotSOS entries, Jonas, Microsoft Office Applications, Email, Birch Street, Time Saver, Watson, Scheduling, Group planning, and other clerical tasks. or other duties required.

• Assist with conducting Monthly Team Meetings

• Lead daily line-ups as assigned.

• Assist with assignments and replacements of instructors and personal trainers.

• Assist with instructor and personal trainer billing/payroll.

• Run new members through the registration procedure.

• Provide members with information on the health club’s services.

• Inform members of the limitations of the health club and ensure that they are followed.

• Create, print and hand out invoices for services rendered and take fee payments.

• Tour new members through the club in order to familiarize them with the offerings.

• Oversee proper use of equipment.

• Ensure that equipment is properly maintained and reset at the end of the day.

• Follow procedures on equipment repairs to ensure safety.

• Ensure adequate health club always supplies available. Place orders in accordance with schedule.

• Suggestively sell health club’s packages, beverages, and promotions.

• Work in conjunction with support areas/departments examples; spa, golf, tennis, activities, membership, housekeeping, and engineering to ensure a seamless operation.

Spa, Activities, Finance, Accounting, Member Relations, Sales, Marketing, Golf, Tennis, Watersports, Banquets, F&B

External Relationships:

Has regular contact with Fitness team Trainers/Coaches if needed.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience Requirements:

• High School Diploma required. Degree or Certification in the Fitness/Exercise field preferred.

• Minimum of 2 years customer service experience. (Luxury property preferred)

• Common knowledge and understanding of Fitness & Wellness.

• Strong interpersonal skills and possess a self-starting initiative.

• CPR & First Aid required.

• Nationally recognized certification in Personal Training or Group Fitness preferred.
