Job Description:
We are seeking a part-time Social Worker to provide direct counseling services to students in Portsmouth, RI. This position involves working 2-3 days per week, supporting students' social-emotional and behavioral needs. The ideal candidate will be skilled in providing individual and group counseling, working collaboratively with school staff, and promoting students' mental health and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling services to students.
• Support students in managing social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop intervention strategies.
• Monitor student progress and provide ongoing support.
• Document services and maintain clear communication with the school team.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) and valid Rhode Island School Social Worker license (required).
• Experience providing direct counseling services to students.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and staff.
• Ability to start ASAP and work through March 30, 2025.
