Soliant is hiring: School Social Worker in Ferndale

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated, certified School Social Worker to join our team and support students in grades K-5. This role focuses on providing IEP behavioral and social-emotional support, helping students develop skills for success both inside and outside the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to address social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to implement IEP goals
• Support social-emotional learning programs for students
• Participate in IEP meetings to contribute to the development of students plans
• Serve as a resource for behavioral interventions and strategies

Qualifications:

• Current Michigan School Social Worker certification required
• Experience with K-5 students preferred
• Strong background in social-emotional and behavioral support
• Excellent munication and collaboration skills

Interview Process:
10-15 minute screening call with a Soliant Education Recruiter
20-30 minute Virtual Interview with the School District
