About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for its Risk, Credit Review Wholesale division. The successful candidate will be part of a team that conducts independent assessments of the firm's credit risk management processes, with a focus on wholesale credit portfolios. This role involves leading and participating in industry reviews, continuous monitoring of assigned industry sectors, and providing senior management with objective and timely assessments of the credit portfolio. Key responsibilities include preparing detailed analyses of individual credits, managing industry reviews, and evaluating the adequacy of credit risk analysis. The role requires a professional with a strong background in banking or credit-related experience, particularly in credit review, lending, credit risk management, or regulatory supervision. Applicants for the Vice President position should have a Bachelor's and/or Master's degree, at least 10 years' relevant experience, and a strong knowledge of credit analysis, ratings analysis, and corporate finance. Experience in internal audit or credit/loan risk review, as well as knowledge of banking regulations and lending products, is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a functional background in finance and accounting, be highly motivated, adaptable, and possess strong analytical and communication skills. The role demands a professional who can manage multiple assignments, work effectively in a team environment, and provide expert consultation to management. Competencies in functional expertise, technical skills, drive and motivation, client and business focus, teamwork, communication, judgment, problem-solving, creativity, and influencing outcomes are essential.
