The Role
As Product Designer at Valence, you'll be at the forefront of revolutionizing leadership development through design. You'll craft intuitive, powerful user experiences for our AI-powered coaching platform, directly impacting how industry giants like Coca-Cola, Nestlé, and General Mills develop their leaders. This isn't just about creating beautiful interfaces - it's about solving complex problems with elegant simplicity, making AI coaching accessible and engaging for many levels of leadership. You'll work closely with our engineering, product, and client solutions teams to shape the future of our platform. We're looking for someone who can translate cutting-edge AI capabilities into user-friendly designs, pushing the boundaries of what enterprise software can achieve. Candidates based in New York will be given preference for this hybrid role, 3 days a week in office in Union Square. Remote candidates in other major cities in MT or ET will be considered. Candidates must be comfortable balancing colleagues in global timezones, as needed. Candidates must have valid ID/passport and must not have any restrictions on their travel abilities due to work authorization or permits in the US.

What You'll Do
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to create designs that align with our business goals and resonate with our users.
- Conceptualize and execute on visually stunning, intuitive, and effective designs for Valence's platform.
- Engage directly with clients to understand their needs and pain points, and translate these insights into powerful design solutions.
- Help develop and maintain design systems that enable our teams to move quickly and consistently as we scale.
- Support the development of a growing design function at Valence.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree in Design, HCI, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 3+ years of experience in product design, preferably within an early, B2B rapidly growing Saas company.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in UX/UI design, including experience with complex, data-intensive applications.
- Experience working with engineering teams to implement designs, with a strong understanding of the technical aspects of product development.
- Ability to lead design projects from conception to execution, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
