The Multi Domain Solutions Division at Leidos is looking for an Industrial Security - COMSEC Operations professional to support a fast-paced program with the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center. The Industrial Security Professional will oversee the management of Communications Security (COMSEC) equipment for the program. This role is essential for ensuring the secure handling, storage, and distribution of sensitive information and materials, adhering to government regulations and industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security protocols and a thorough understanding of COMSEC procedures.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Manage the lifecycle of COMSEC equipment, including inventory control, maintenance, and proper
  • disposition.
  • Implement and enforce security policies and procedures related to COMSEC equipment and
  • materials.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with federal regulations and internal security standards.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on the proper handling and operation of COMSEC equipment.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify security vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
  • Maintain accurate records of COMSEC equipment usage, including access logs and incident reports.
  • Stay informed about emerging security threats and best practices in COMSEC management.

Basic Qualifications:
  • US Citizen with at least a Top Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree with 4 years of experience or Masters with at least 2 years' experience; equivalent industry experience in lieu of education will be considered.
  • Knowledge of COMSEC policies and procedures, including NIST and DoD regulations.
  • Experience in industrial security or information security roles.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or similar certification.
  • Previous experience managing COMSEC equipment in a government or defense environment.
  • Familiarity with encryption technologies and secure communications protocols.
  • Experience with risk assessment and management frameworks.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to security challenges.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Pay Range: Pay Range $61,750.00 - $111,625.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
