Avera is currently seeking Physical Therapist-Outpatient (PT) looking to deliver the best possible care in Avera's patient-focused settings. Position Highlights: * Provide treatment to patients as they come for outpatient services in the therapy department. * Able to work in a variety of areas including acute care, TCU/LTC, swingbed, pediatrics, outpatient adult. * This position will be working in both Miller and Pierre * Avera St. Mary's Named Top 20 Rural Community Hospitals Job Summary * Responsible for administering the application of Physical Therapy treatments through supervision, instruction and actual patient treatment. * Anatomy, physiology and physical science and their applications to specialized techniques in evaluation and treatment of patients. * Awareness of relative value and limitations of each piece of equipment. * Clear understanding of indications and contraindications of various treatment modalities. Education and/or Experience * Graduate of CAPTE approved School of Physical Therapy. * Continuing education program credits are preferred. Licensure/Certification/Registration * Physical Therapy license in the state of South Dakota required. * BLS Certification required. Work Schedule * Monday - Friday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm; PRN Pay The hourly range for this position is listed below.
