We influence revenue growth across our entire product portfolio and collaborate with sales, strategy, product, and engineering teams to provide the best experience for our most valued customers. Our team works alongside commercial teams throughout the pre-sales, solution design, and API integration stages, serving as the single technical point of contact and trusted advisor for our clients. We are committed to empowering businesses with the tools our clients need to succeed in a dynamic marketWhat you’ll doAs a Solutions Architect within the Solutions Engineering team, you will be working closely with our commercial leaders, GMs, CTO, and product leaders to establish a win-strategy for our most strategic enterprise clients from a technical perspectives. This role is primarily focused on pre-sales discoveries and solutioning, with a strong emphasis on supporting GTM enablement efforts. Your critical thinking capability, expertise in payments, and executive engagement skills will be critical in helping our customers realize the full benefits of our technologies and leading us to successful implementation and go-lives. As our team continues to grow, you will play a pivotal role in shaping its future and driving impactful resultsThis role is based in San Francisco or New York City. Responsibilities:Drive thought leadership and build executive relationships with key business and technical stakeholders Develop white paper / competitor studies / support “how to win” strategy development with the enterprise commercial, strategy, and marketing teamsOwn pre-sales activities for strategic customers from technical perspectives, owning RFP process and develop proof of conceptsAct as the voice of the customer to inform our product team on insights, trends, and opportunities across the marketsOversee end-to-end implementation delivery for the strategic accounts with support from solutions engineersApproximately 25% travel is anticipated, especially for in-person meetings in UK / EUWho you are We're looking for people who meet the minimum qualifications for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have, but are not mandatory. Minimum qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline, with strong academic achievementsAt least 10 years of experience working in a similar customer-facing engineering role such as solution consultant, solutions architect, sales engineer, for a global software enterprise or payments companyExecutive engagement skills and presence, with an ability to establish strong relationships with key decision makers and build credibility at all levelsStrong organizational/time management skills and the ability to juggle competing priorities while working with multiple opportunities and customersStrong problem-solving mindset, comfortable working with customers, partners, and the Airwallex Engineering team to develop new products and solutions Preferred qualifications:Knowledge of the payments domain / financial services will be advantageousAt some point in your career you will have been hands on developing product solutions either internally or in a consulting rolePassionate about learning and actively seeks out knowledgeAbility to work independently and confidently to develop a path forward with customers under ambiguous circumstances.Strategic and creative thinker who can proactively identify challenges and maintain a positive approach when facing difficult obstacles.Equal opportunityAirwallex is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
