Join us as we continue to set the standard in healthcare and life science construction.Position OverviewThe Sr. Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely estimates for commercial construction projects, with a focus on healthcare and life sciences facilities. This role will leverage extensive industry knowledge to ensure competitive and profitable bid submissions while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects, particularly in the healthcare and life science sectors.Analyze project plans and specifications to determine scope of work and required materials.Collaborate with project managers and architects to gather necessary information for accurate estimations.Review subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure competitiveness and compliance with project requirements.Identify potential risks and opportunities within project estimates and communicate findings to the project team.Maintain and update cost databases and historical data for future reference and comparison.Support the bidding process by participating in pre-bid meetings and presenting estimates to clients.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in estimating within the commercial construction industry.Proven experience in healthcare and life sciences construction estimating.Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and market conditions.Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with a keen attention to detail.Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with teams and clients.BenefitsVacation/PTOMedicalDentalVision401kBonusRelocationTelecommuteFor this position you must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
