Description
The Quality Manager (Aerospace Manufacturing) Will:
- Develop and continuously improve processes to ensure consistent product quality.
- Lead a team of quality engineers, inspectors, and technicians to uphold quality standards.
- Foster a culture of quality by engaging employees in their role in maintaining high standards.
- Address customer concerns and ensure compliance with customer quality requirements.
- Respond to shop-floor quality events and manage corrective actions effectively.
- Prepare for and support customer and industry assessments.
- Maintain industry certifications, including AS9100.
- Collaborate with all departments to enhance internal and delivered quality performance.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Applied Sciences.
- Experience in quality management or continuous improvement within aerospace manufacturing.
- Experience in a quality manager position - ideally 2 plus years
- Proven leadership and team motivation skills.
- Strong proficiency with quality tools, including APQP/PPAP, 8D RCCA, SPC, Lean Six Sigma, and Auditing.
- Knowledge of AS9100 and AS13100 standards is highly preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word.
