About the Role

The Company is seeking an Interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join a dynamic and innovative management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall financial operations of the acute-care facility, including accounting, budgeting, audits, tax, and other financial planning activities. This role requires a strategic leader with a strong emphasis on financial reporting analysis and cash flow management, as well as experience in revenue cycle management and problem-solving. The Interim CFO will also be tasked with ensuring the hospital meets all necessary financial regulatory and compliance requirements, contributing financial expertise to the planning of new services, and managing costs to eliminate non-value expenses. Applicants for the Interim CFO position at the company should have a minimum of 5 years' progressive managerial experience in a financial or accounting role within an acute-care environment. Previous experience as an Interim CFO, CFO, or in an equivalent position is essential. The role demands a professional with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships, cope with and manage change, and demonstrate emotional maturity and self-motivation. A CPA is preferred, and the candidate must be adept at public relations, with excellent verbal and listening skills. Responsibilities also include leading the financial department team, participating in strategic planning, and representing the hospital at various meetings.
