About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President, Corporate Controller to lead its global accounting function. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of accounting, including SEC and financial reporting, technical accounting and policy, consolidation, and financial systems. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with financial and regulatory reporting, and the ideal candidate will have a strong background in public accounting and/or a US-based multinational corporation, with a deep understanding of US GAAP. The VP, Corporate Controller will also be instrumental in process improvements and collaboration across various departments and must have a proven track record of leadership and the ability to make strategic, forward-thinking decisions. Applicants for the VP, Corporate Controller position at the company should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting, with a CPA designation required and an MBA degree preferred. A minimum of 15 years of financial leadership experience is expected, with a focus on technical accounting, external and public company financials, and SEC reporting. The role demands an individual with exceptional leadership skills, a strong technical background, and the ability to manage and lead global teams. The candidate must be adept at problem-solving, have a strong execution orientation, and be capable of challenging the status quo. Experience with international accounting practices and operations, including foreign currency translation, is also a key requirement.
