About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP, Corporate Controller to join their corporate Accounting & Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and overseeing financial accounting, reporting, and analysis functions, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and IFRS standards. This role is pivotal in the organization's financial operations, with a focus on technical and general accounting, as well as corporate FP&A. The VP, Corporate Controller will also serve as a strategic partner to finance leaders, collaborating on corporate initiatives, consolidations, and business unit support. Key responsibilities include financial reporting and compliance, leading corporate FP&A processes, acting as a business partner for strategic initiatives, and managing the consolidation process for global operations. Candidates for this role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a CPA certification preferred. A minimum of 12 years' experience in accounting and finance, particularly in a complex, multinational organization, is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in US GAAP and IFRS, experience with financial systems and ERP tools, and a proven track record in managing M&A activities. Leadership, analytical thinking, and the ability to drive change and process improvements are essential. The role demands a detail-oriented, results-driven individual with a strategic mindset, capable of leading a high-performing team and fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
