About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP, Corporate Controller to lead its accounting and financial reporting functions. This critical role involves overseeing the preparation and filing of financial statements in compliance with SEC regulations, developing and maintaining internal control policies, and managing external audits. The successful candidate will be responsible for the accuracy of general and technical accounting activities, the closing process, and ensuring compliance with GAAP/IFRS and regulatory requirements. Additionally, the VP, Corporate Controller will play a key role in supporting the company's strategic objectives, collaborating with the finance team on budgets and forecasts, and partnering with executive leadership in financial analysis and decision-making. Candidates for the VP, Corporate Controller position at the company must have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a CPA certification. A minimum of 15 years' progressive accounting experience, including at least 8 years in a leadership role within a public company, is required. Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS, SEC reporting, and SOX compliance is essential, as is experience with enterprise-level ERP systems. The role demands a proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The VP, Corporate Controller will also be responsible for mentoring the accounting team, enhancing financial systems and processes, and ensuring the company's financial operations align with its business objectives.
