A health organization is looking for a Women's Health APP for a great full-time opportunity at their Spring Valley and Yonkers locations. About The Opportunity Schedule: Monday to Friday Hours: 8am to 5pm Setting: Outpatient Responsibilities Perform routine well-woman exams and use these exams to screen for conditions such as cervical cancer and breast abnormalities Provide family planning services, including prescribing and fitting contraceptive methods, offering counseling on family planning options, and educating women about birth control choices Provide prenatal care to pregnant women Diagnose and treat various gynecological conditions, including menstrual disorders, urinary tract infections, and sexually transmitted infections Manage the physical and emotional changes that come with menopause Educate women about breast health and conduct breast exams to detect abnormalities Perform other duties, as needed Qualifications 1+ year of related work experience Bachelor's Degree Active NJS Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) license Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills Patient oriented Great interpersonal skills Excellent communication skills Strong attention to detail Highly organized Desired Skills Experience in LARC (IUD + Nexplanon) insertion and colposcopy procedure
