About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their dynamic and service-oriented team. The CFO will be responsible for the strategic and technical leadership of the company's financial operations, with a focus on strengthening its financial base. This includes the development and oversight of annual operating and capital budgets, effective cash management, and ensuring the efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness of financial systems and reports. The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader, committed to collaborative leadership, and capable of providing analytical and decision-making direction for complex financial issues. The CFO will also be expected to manage the company's banking and business relationships, oversee human resources and benefit administration, and ensure compliance with relevant financial laws and governance. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a minimum of a four-year degree in accounting, finance, or a related business field, with a relevant graduate degree and/or CPA strongly preferred. A minimum of ten years of related experience, particularly in higher education, healthcare, or non-profit organizations, is required. The role demands a leader with strong communication, interpersonal, and management skills, as well as a proven track record of supervising professional and non-professional employees. The CFO will serve as a key liaison to the Board of Trustees, so experience in a similar governance role is beneficial. The company is an equal-opportunity employer and is committed to a diverse and inclusive work environment.
